Junior Architectural Project Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a client-focused Junior Architectural Project Manager to join our growing team in Queens, NY. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in architectural design and construction project management, particularly in roofing, waterproofing, and facade restoration, and who is familiar with NYC Local Law 11 (LL11) and FISP (Facade Inspection & Safety Program) requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate restoration projects from pre-design through construction closeout.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments in compliance with LL11/FISP regulations.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery.
Prepare and review construction documents, specifications, and reports.
Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
Ensure compliance with NYC DOB codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards.
Support senior project managers and principals with administrative and technical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in architectural project management, preferably in building envelope restoration.
Familiarity with Local Law 11 (LL11) and FISP compliance processes.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management software is a plus.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
A client-first mindset with a proactive and professional demeanor.
Experience working with NYC agencies and understanding of local permitting processes.
