Audit Senior Manager
Location: Columbus, OH (or surrounding areas)
Salary: $120K-$200K base + bonus (salary depends on experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior Manager to lead our audit engagements and provide strategic oversight to our audit teams. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory standards while delivering exceptional client service. This role requires a strong understanding of audit processes, financial reporting, and a commitment to developing team capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion, including supervision of staff and review of their work.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements in financial reporting and auditing.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their business needs and concerns.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members and assist in their professional development.
- Perform risk assessments and identify areas for improvement in clients' accounting and auditing processes.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Conduct forensic accounting and tax audits as required, collaborating with relevant departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience, with a focus on audit management.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards.
- Experience in commercial property accounting and property accounting is a plus.
- Familiarity with forensic accounting and tax auditing processes is desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
