Are you a seasoned civil engineer ready to lead a high-performing team in land development? A well-established engineering consultancy in the Centennial, CO area is seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Lead to oversee project execution, mentor junior staff, and drive technical excellence across a diverse portfolio of land development projects.

What You'll Do:

Lead a team of 2-5 engineers, managing project workflows, technical deliverables, and team performance.
Collaborate with project managers to align priorities, schedules, and client expectations.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
Oversee the preparation and review of construction documents, cost estimates, calculations, and reports.
Ensure quality control, budget adherence, and timely delivery of project milestones.
Engage with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to maintain strong professional relationships and ensure project success.
Contribute to strategic planning and business development efforts through client interaction and service promotion.

What You Bring:

Proven expertise in civil engineering with a focus on land development.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with a passion for mentoring and team development.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiarity with hydrology/hydraulics tools (e.g., StormCAD, HEC-RAS).
Experience navigating local and regional permitting processes and working with regulatory bodies.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
5-7+ years of relevant experience in land development engineering.
Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain.
