Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Estate Planning Attorney with a strong foundation in drafting wills, trusts, and advanced directives. The ideal candidate will be skilled at building lasting client relationships and providing tailored estate and tax planning solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a transactional practice and enjoys acting as a trusted advisor to business owners and high-net-worth individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advanced healthcare directives
  • Advise clients on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning
  • Develop and implement advanced estate planning strategies
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure comprehensive planning
  • Stay current on changes in probate, tax, and trust law
  • Support business succession planning and related transactional matters

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
  • Demonstrated experience in estate planning, including drafting core documents
  • Strong understanding of probate and tax laws; advanced planning knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
