Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Accountant to oversee and manage the financial reporting and accounting operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and facilitating efficient financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor a team of 4 accounting professionals
Providing guidance and support in daily operations.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, maintaining efficient cash flow management.
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits and provide necessary documentation.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances and providing insights.
Ensure compliance with sales tax regulations and oversee tax filings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with a focus on lead or supervisory roles.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
Proficient in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
