Project Engineer

Position Overview
The Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are executed within budget and on schedule while meeting quality standards and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage engineering projects, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines
Utilize CAD software to assist in engineering design and modification tasks.
Ensure quality assurance practices are followed in all phases of the project.
Solve technical problems that arise during project execution.
Support team collaboration by fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Oversee technical documentation from order receipt to shipment.
Ensure high-quality products are delivered on time and within budget.
Confirm equipment selection and maintain compliance with project specifications.
Create and manage project schedules while handling internal and external correspondence.
Possess in-depth technical knowledge of products, engineering design standards, and sub-vendor procurement and production practices
Coordinate across Sales, Engineering, Drafting, Purchasing, and Production teams.
Manage vendor procurement and production practices to ensure project success.
Prepare technical reports and communicate project status to management and customers

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Experience: 4+ years
Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with management and customer base
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office products
Industry Knowledge: General base of pressure vessel and filtration knowledge preferred
Software Experience:
- ERP systems, COMPRESS, and SolidWorks (preferred)
Additional Experience: Military Marine background is a plus
